Italian Cheese Making & Lunch: Fresh Mozzarella & Ricotta With Chef Pietro Scotti

Join Chef Pietro Scotti of Da Pietros Restaurant in Saugatuck for a fun class teaching the techniques of making mozzarella and ricotta. Unearth the traditions of central and southern Italy in this class devoted to traditional Italian cheeses. We will witness the transformation of curd to cheese, stretching and shaping mozzarella and then producing a traditional recipe of whey ricotta cheese that dates back to the Roman Empire, which is easy to make at home. Guests will taste the fruits of their labors and enjoy a homemade lunch featuring cannelloni and salad. BYO vino. Limited to 16 students.
