Sorry, this event is sold out. Future Events: Please connect with us by getting on our email list for future events (email to mail@magicalmoonshine.org and put Chaucer in the subject to join the list) or email us about joining the McCune collection. You can also follow us on Facebook at the Kelmscott Chaucer Toy Theatre Project page. Let us hear from you and we will be happy to give you priority for the next event! Join us for an exciting evening of ancient music, short, dramatic readings from Canterbury Tales by international award winning Magical Moonshine Theatre, medieval foods by Culinary Institute of America Chef/Instructor Bill Briwa, "modern" medieval gruited and sage ales and mead by local brewer Michael Nelson, all set in the beautiful Julia Morgan designed home of art collector Judith Hilburg at the top of Capitol St. in Vallejo. This is event is a fundraiser to help fund a new project: Vallejo's McCune Rare Book Library is working with Magical Moonshine Puppet Theatre to create a new production of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, inspired by the Kelmscott Press Chaucer, considered one of the world's publishing masterpieces.
