Little did we know that the husband and wife duo authors, Hans and Margret Rey, escaped from Nazi Germany on makeshift bicycles, and rode across Europe carrying the unpublished manuscript of Curious George with them.
Directed by Ema Ryan Yamazaki, this mixed-media documentary reveals how the Reys extraordinary real-life adventures are mirrored inside the pages of this classic childrens book series. Curious George cartoons will be playing in the Bookstore.
