Sunday, November 5 7:30 PM | Alexandra Zupruder Twenty-Six Seconds: A Personal History of the Zapruder Film
Alexandra Zapruders book, Twenty-Six Seconds, tells the story behind how her grandfather, Abraham Zapruder, captured the iconic footage of the JFK assassination in Dallas, TX, November 1963.
With the sole purpose of recording JFKs motorcade passing through Dealey Plaza and later showing it to his family, Abraham instead caught the tragedy on film, resulting in many sensitive issues to consider. Author and educator, Zapruder is part of the founding staff of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.
