To Kill a Mockingbird
For the first time in well over a decade, this acclaimed stage adaptation of Harper Lee's famous novel To Kill A Mockingbird comes to the Long Island stage at Theater 294 in Farmingdale October 20 to Nov. 5.
The play by Christopher Sergel captures all of the charm, warmth and tension of the original work and remains true to the original story. The timeless characters from the novel come alive on stage as this powerful and dramatic tale unfolds.
The show's captivating and heartwarming story is as timely and as meaningful today as it was in 1960 when Harper Lee's magnificent work was published.
The injustice portrayed, the questions posed and the heroic actions are remarkably relevant to contemporary culture and society.
See the show that brings one of the nation's classic tales to life on Long Island - before a Broadway production of a new script based on the novel.
Watch Mockingbird land on Long Island even before the story heads for a New York City stage.
