ERATO presents EARTH: Folk Songs
The second concert in Erato's season Elements features "folk songs of the Earth." Featuring Luciano Berio's masterpiece "Folk Songs" and William George's popular "Canadiana Suite" as well as Gustav Hoyer's "Three American Songs" of the old west, and Ralph Vaughan Williams' "6 Studies in English Folk Song" for cello and piano. Plus two world premieres: Stefan Hintersteininger's "Raglan Road" and Catherine Laub's "She's Like the Swallow." This is one of Erato's most ambitious concerts yet!
