Wild Crafting Day Course: Wild Autumn Super Foods
Want to learn about the magical world of wild edible plants, the sensory art of foraging and how to prepare and preserve wild flavours?
Autumn brings a rich diversity of the powerful super foods that our bodies need to support and nourish us over the winter season. Enjoy a morning on a guided sensory wild food walk learning to safely identify and sustainably gather wild foods.
Learn about their edible uses along with plant folklore and historical uses, and an afternoon learning how to preserve and supercharge your wild bounty with techniques and recipes such as lacto-fermentation, wild vinegar and elixir making.
This course will be a mixture of foraging, hands-on cooking and demonstrations, with lots of tips and recipes, talking and tasting, giving you the confidence to supercharge your hedgerow bounty to make it even better for you.
Cost; £75, includes wild snacks and refreshments, a wild food calendar and your own handmade wild food products to take away.
