Mount Baker Home Tour

The 2017 Mount Baker Home Tour will be held Saturday, December 2, from 10am to 4:00pm. This long-standing tradition began in 1971, as part of Mount Bakers quest to combat redlining by showcasing not just our neighborhoods architectural treasures, but the diverse and welcoming community that we continue to be.

Today the Home Tour continues as a beloved biennial celebration. It is the single largest funding source for the wide array of community events hosted by the Mount Baker Community Club, including our Candidates Forum, Meaningful Movies and childrens programs. Its proceeds also support the operation of our historic,103-year-old Club House.

This year's Home Tour will feature six stunning homes built between 1910-2009 as well as a 1925 Italian Romanesque-style church. The Tour begins and ends at the Club House, which was designed by Charles Dose in the rustic Craftsman style typical of the 1910s. Complimentary tea, coffee and cookies will be available at the Club House throughout the day.

Guests can walk the tour or use free shuttle transportation between Home Tour destinations. Don't miss the Arts & Crafts Fair in the Club House for unique holiday gifts from local artists. All activities are ongoing throughout the day, thanks to the friendly volunteer support of neighborhood residents!
