CRIS WILLIAMSON: SONG OF THE SOUL SONGWRITING WORKSHOP - DENVER
Hey everybody! I wanted to let you know about a Song Of The Soul Songwriting Workshop I have scheduled in Denver, November 3rd and 4th. On Friday night, we'll all meet from 7pm-10pm at the MCC Church in Denver. The next day, Saturday, we'll meet there again at 9am and go until noon when we'll break for lunch. We'll reassemble by 1:00 and go until 3pm. Everyone is welcome, and you truly do not need to play an instrument (but feel free to bring one, if you do play - there is a piano on-site), nor do you have to know how to write at all. What is required is a questing mind, and a willing Spirit. Using our tools- Dictionary, Thesaurus, and Rhyming Dictionary, we'll write together and apart, and, as a group, create a Class Song;those who are willing will present this song Saturday night with me during the first half of the concert there at the church. Please come and join me in this workshop. I know you will discover that you can do this,and do it well, and that it is so much fun! Ive seen it happen time and again, and I know we can do this together.
For Songwriters and Would-Be Songwriters alike. There are Songs in everyone. You can do this! I'll show you how. Join us.
Workshop Fee also includes admission to the Concert on Saturday, where, if you are willing, you will also perform.
