SATE presents its final production in the tenth year celebratory Season of Adaptation with John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. First published in 1937 as a novella, Of Mice and Men tells the story of George and Lennie, two farm workers who dream of a better life beyond migrant labor, but their bond of friendship is tested when events lead them down an ominous, slippery slope. SATE presents Of Mice and Men, November 8-18 (Wednesdays-Saturdays) at 8:00pm, at The Chapel, 6238 Alexander Drive, St. Louis, MO 63105.
SATEs performing ensemble includes Adam Flores, Carl Overly, Jr., Courtney Bailey Parker, Jack Corey, Joe Hanrahan, Michael Cassidy Flynn, Natasha Toro, Omega D. Jones, Ryan Lawson-Maeske, and Shane Signorino.
Of Mice and Men is directed by Jacqueline Thompson. The production stage manager is Kristin Rion with dramaturgy by Rachel Hanks. Mason Hunt is the assistant stage manager. Lighting and set design by Bess Moynihan and costume design by Liz Henning. Graphic design by Dottie Quick and photography by Joey Rumpell. Chris Ware will serve as the music director.
