Copley Cats & Friends with special guest, Mary Casiello
Special Guest: Singer-songwriter Mary Casiello
As one of the longest-running a cappella groups in the Boston area, the Copley Cats are known for tight harmonies, amazing blend, and great music. The group's founders were Mount Holyoke grads who missed the great time they had singing in college and decided to form the Copley Cats. The original group's first gig was over 30 years ago and the music has been going strong since!
The Copley Cats have grown and evolved over time, but we always have a lot of fun. Members come from all sorts of backgrounds: teachers and administrators, librarians and marketers, designers, domestic engineers, and singer/songwriters. Regardless of our "day jobs," we enjoy getting together to sing. http://copleycats.wixsite.com/copleycats
opening the show, singer/songwriter extraordinaire, Mary Casiello. Mary wrote her first song at age nine, but started writing more seriously at age 14. Since then, she has composed scores of songs in a variety of styles, from R&B to pop, rock to blues, secular to religious, and even the occasional classical composition. She doesnt wish to tie herself down to any one genre, but always seeks to write music that speaks to the heart of the human experience in a way that is accessible, unique, and honest. http://www.marycasiello.com/
