Jingle Jazz
Thursday, December 7, 2017!
Peninsula College Foundation and The Olympus Group at D.A. Davidson present Jingle Jazz, featuring the Peninsula College Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Vocal Harmony.
Join us December 7, for an evening of festive entertainment, which has become a holiday tradition on the North Olympic Peninsula. Patterned after National Public Radios variety show "A Prairie Home Companion," this year's must-see Jingle Jazz holiday production, "Home for the Holidays," will include live interviews with performers, Thursday, December 7, at 7:00 pm in Peninsula Colleges Little Theater.
Additional guests, Chris Lee and Colleen O'Brien of PoetryMusic, jazz singer Jessie Lee, along with the Peninsula College Jazz Singers and Vocal Harmony, will be interviewed briefly by local radio personality Todd Ortloff between sets. Humorist Laura O'Neal will also present throughout the event, providing a comical twist as stage manager.
And, come early! A no-host chocolate and wine reception (with cider and cookies for the under 21 crowd) will allow concert goers to indulge in the sweetness of the season beginning at 6:00 pm in the PC Pirate Union Building. The concert will begin promptly at 7:00 pm, broadcasting live on AM 1450 and FM 101.7 KONP Radio. Folks tuning in at home can also listen live at www.konp.com.
Tickets are $15 online and at the door, based on availability. Online ticket sales will close 10 hours before this event (at 10:00am PST on 12/7/17).
Proceeds benefit Peninsula College students and programs, with a portion of the money providing assistance to the Vocal Harmony group, who will travel to Ireland in March 2018. Additional support for concert will be provided by Wilder Auto.
