MICA Haunted House: Backwoods
The MICA Haunted House is an entirely student-run production that runs annually in October. Known for its large-scale, intricate, immersive and horrifying haunts, each year features a unique theme that is guaranteed to leave you petrified. This October, we welcome you to explore the terrors that lay in wait off the beaten path in this year's Backwoods.
Mandatory Waiver this year. You have the OPTION of being POKED AND PRODDED by the monsters and ghouls hiding along whatever trail you wind up taking inside the BBOX theater.

Thursday, October 19th. 10pm-12am
Friday, October 20th. 8:30pm-12am
Saturday, October 21st. 7pm-11pm
Friday, October 27th. 8:30pm-11pm
Saturday, October 28th. 3pm-6pm
Make sure you arrive 30 minutes before the end time each night if you have not purchased a ticket in advance to guarantee entry.
$10 General Admission
$5 MICA students, Faculty or Staff (Buy at the door)
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. If you purchase your ticket online the ticket is valid any of the dates and times we are running our haunt. Please make sure that you arrive 30 minutes before close each night if you have not purchased tickets in advance to guarantee entry. If you are a MICA student, bring your student ID to receive your discount.
WARNINGS:
Strobes and fog machines will be used. There may be some nudity. Not recommended for children.
You have the option to be or not to be touched by our actors, and if you're okay with being touched, this will be indicated by a glowing wristband we will give you upon entry. If you decide that during the haunt this experience is too intense for you, feel free to remove the wristband.
RULES: You are not allowed to touch or harass the actors. (if you accidentally bump into them, it's fine, but we can tell when you're doing it on purpose.) Do not touch, take or tamper with props. No photography. If you are intoxicated you will not be admitted. Any violations of these rules can and will result in removal from our haunt without a refund.
