Family Ties
Marin Baroque presents Family Ties, 8 pm, Saturday, November 18th, at First Presbyterian Church San Anselmo. On the program are works by father and son Leopold and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and brothers Johann Michael and Franz Joseph Haydn, including F.J. Haydns wonderful Missa Brevis Sancti Joannes de Deo (Kleine Orgelmesse), Hob XXII:7. The program also features the playful Toy Symphony by L. Mozart and selections from both of W. Mozarts beatific Vesperae solennes de Confessore, KV 321 & 339.
The orchestra: Sara Usher, Tyler Lewis, violins; Farley Pearce, violoncello; John Dornenburg, violone; Yuko Tanaka, harpsichord, organ.
A raffle with wonderful prizes including: certificates for restaurants and galleries and a special grand prize. Tickets available at the door and by emailing marinbaroque@gmail.com
