SWT Presents Best of the Naughty List!! benefiting Great Lakes Burn Camp
Join us for some naughty fun to get you in the right holiday spirit. What better way to make it through this time of year than with laughs. There is lots in store--This is the last stop of the Sparkle Wrapped Tour for 2017.
As this is the last Sparkle Wrapped Show for the year, we can't be any prouder it's for a great organization--Great Lakes Burn Camp.
Their Mission says it all:
Great Lakes Burn Camp (GLBC) provides a unique experience that promotes healing, self-esteem, confidence, and general well-being for burn injured children.
We've got a great line up with Melanie Hearn, Jimmy Slims, Paolo Busignani and our MC & hostess Moe Lietz. They all have very different perspectives on life and will have you laughing about everything and then some.
A little bit about our comics:
Moe Lietz She's full of Irish sarcastic wit about everyday life observations....and sometimes the bubbles you wish wouldn't appear over your head make it out anyway...just warning.
Melanie Hearn a fast rising talent on the Metro Detroit comedy scene is a native of The "D". Melanie has always enjoyed entertaining people "just cause". In just a few years Melanie has made her presence known around town for her versatile mix of realism and sass she's just as nice as she is naughty. Melanie delivers a fun high energy show that really gets the crowd involved in her act. A local favorite at Funnybone in Toledo, Melanie continues to hone her skills at open mics across the state. Melanie has recently performed along side Dean Edwards, Faizon Love, Billy Sorrels Jr, Tony Rock and Michigan native J Chris Newberg.
Featuring a return back to the stage..Jimmy Slims
Before being overcome by health issues, Jimmy Slims was one of the most prolific up and coming comedians in the Midwest...were very happy to be able bring back his unapologetic satirical view of the world we live in...if youre not easily offended...you will be!
Paolo Busignani Likeable, energetic, and charming are just a few words to describe Paolo Busignani. Did we mention funny? Growing up with a parent from San Marino, Italy and one from Detroit, Michigan; Paolo has the alluring blend of a boisterous, passionate Italian with a Mid-Western charm that gets audiences rolling with laughter. Growing up speaking Italish (an incoherent mix of Italian and English) he uses characters and storytelling to bring audiences into his world. He draws upon his family, painful life lessons, being a father, and his numerous opinions, to give his audience an experience they won't soon forget.
Paolo got a late start to comedy but making his festival debut at Gilda's Laughfest, he has quickly made up for lost time. Being very active in charities involving children, cancer research and veterans; he has performed for the Relay for Life, Burn Camp and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Whether he has performed in a club, festival, small town or big city; audiences can agree on one thing. He's funny!
Doors open at 7 and SHOWTIME is 8 pm. We will have some great drink specials and a surprise or 2 in true Sparkle style.
So come be a little naughty with us.....
