Musical Expression from Patagonia, Argentina.
Piano concert and songs in Mapuche language by indigenous Mapuche/Aymara composer Namuncura, accompanied by electronic resources and traditional Mapuche instruments.

Works by Horacio Salgán, Astor Piazzolla, tangos of the Guardia Vieja (the informal 1890s-1915 group of musicans, poets, and dancers from which tango sprang), Chacareras, zamba of Cuchi Leguizamón as well as works in which classical tradition is mixed with improvisatory strokes.
