The Colonial Ringers at Bowie Center for the Performing Arts
Welcome to the Colonial English Handbell Ringers 2017 Holiday Concert! Our group has been delighting Washington audiences since 1991. Beautifully costumed in Colonial dress, we bring a 5-octave long set of nearly 80 bells from the White Chapel foundry in England.
We invite you to be our guest at our upcoming A Concert of Classics featuring holiday favorites such as Silver Bells and a beautiful rendition of Silent Night, a melody of classic Gershwin songs, Pachebels Canon, the incredibly lively March Trepak from Tchaikovskys Nutcracker Suite, our traditional Carol Sing-a-Long and much more. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you at a concert thats what keeps bringing us back. You are sure to love it!
Our Bowie concert is a fundraiser for our group, the venue and several area school groups. Our concerts are appropriate for all ages - invite your friends and family and get into the holiday spirit.
