PRESENTATION: SCALABLE EARNED VALUE MANAGEMENT" The time has come to clearly define Scalable Earned Value Management (SEVM). Scalable Earned Value Management (SEVM) is a modification of Earned Value Management System as defined by the US Government. Earned Value Management System is defined by the proscriptive ANSI EIA 748C criteria, the 32 Guidelines, AACE® Total Cost Framework and its Recommended Practices. Many users have a need to use Earned Value Management with lesser criterion than that defined for the Earned Value Management System. SEVM is Earned Value Management system defined in modified criteria, scalable to the needs of the user. A users needs may only require very basic criteria or scale upward toward the high criterion Earned Value Management System. This presentation discusses and demonstrates considerations for scaling the criteria to the users needs. The purpose of this presentation is to kick-off the effort to develop Scalable Earned Value Management (SEVM) AACE Recommended Practices (RPs).
PRESENTER: Charles F. Lappenbusch, Jr., MBA, CCP, EVP, PSP; Charles Lappenbusch Consulting LLC. Mr. Lappenbusch has over 40 years of project management and financial experience related to infrastructure projects, including as Director of Development for a new town of 17,000 residences to include all the public and private infrastructures. His emphasis is cost control processes, monitoring and integration with Critical Path Scheduling, Earned Value Method, Risk Analysis and writing reports focused to the desired levels of management. He aligns and allocates budgets to applicable WBS levels that support roll up and drill down analysis. Chuck has accepted the duties as Co-Chairman of the AACE Earned Value Management Sub-Committee to focus on this issue.

COST: The member price for this event is $32.00 if you register before 12:00 Noon on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting; late registration is $37.00. Non-members price is $39.00 before 12:00 Noon on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting, and $45.00 thereafter.
Please note that registration will be closed Monday, October 9th, at 8:00 pm.
A very limited of first come first served meals will be available at the door.
