The seminar will address the following topics:
1. What are the legal and civil barriers facing people with criminal conviction and resources, initiatives and developments in the works to address them 2. RAP sheet review and repair - and why it is so critical 3. What are Certificates of Rehabilitation, why are they important for people with criminal conviction and how can they be best applied? 4. Voting Rights 101 for people with criminal conviction 5. Workforce Development and formerly incarcerated people - what is the latest? 6. Key things to note when working with people returning home
There will be a table of resources from a wide range of agencies and organizations working with formerly incarcerated people.
