Event

ALL IN by ATRESBANDES THEATRE COMPANY
ALL IN by ATRESBANDES Theatre Company
Friday 27th October, 7.30pm
Caedmon Hall, Prince Consort Road, Gateshead.

ALL IN takes a wild ride through vastly different, seemingly unconnected worlds, where everyday situations take unexpected turns into the absurd and intimate. Dictatorships, nightclubs, national anthems, education and self help manuals combine in an epic journey that questions how free we really are from the tyranny of the crowd.

For this new performance, ATRESBANDES have brought striking visuals to their characteristic blend of physical theatre and meditative text in a darkly playful exploration of the millennial condition.

ATRESBANDES are a company from Barcelona making sharp, perceptive work on the boundaries of theatre and performance. Since their first appearance in the UK at BE Festival 2012, they have toured the country twice, with Solfatara in 2014 and then with the critically acclaimed Locus Amoenus in 2016. They also work extensively in venues across Spain and mainland Europe.

A wonderful hour of high-functioning clowning laced with satire.  The Stage

In-your-face rawness, all shot through with gutsy deadpan humour.  The Arts Desk
