LUIS RAFAEL VIVANCO - GUITAR CONCERT
Luis Rafael Vivanco began his early studies in classical guitar in Peru. He went on to complete his music degree at the University of British Columbia, where he studied with Michael Strutt. While completing this degree, he learned the lute and baroque guitar from Ray Nurse. He received his masters in music in guitar performance with Denis Azabagic at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Luis has performed in Canada, Mexico, Peru and the United States. He has played in master classes for many guitarists such as Alexander Dunn, Eduardo Fernandez, Fabio Zanon, Jason Vieux, Laura Oltman, Pablo Cohen, Pamela Kimmel among others. He divides his time between ensemble and solo performing and teaching.
