Pasture Establishment & Renovation Workshop - Wednesday, Oct 4, 6pm-9pm
Do you want to increase the quality and productivity of your pastures? Learn tips, techniques and practices that will keep your pastures greener, healthier and more productive at this workshop on Pasture Establishment and Renovation. Receive great resources and hear from OSU Extension animal forage and pasture expert Gene Pirelli. This workshop will cover methods, strategies and equipment used for renovating and improving pastures, reseeding techniques, various grass and forage varieties, and grazing practices that will improve pasture quality. (The focus of the workshop will be on maintaining and renovating pastures for large livestock including cattle, horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, and llamas. This workshop will not focus on pasture maintenance for chickens or hogs.)
This workshop is hosted by the Small Acreage Program which is made possible by joint sponsorship from WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Public Works Clean Water Program.
