Asbury Shorts USA lands in Astoria Queens for the first time ever with 2 shows at the historic Kaufman Astoria Studios...co presented by The Astor Room. Oct. 19th > 20th @ 7:30pm An evening of world renowned award wining short films presented in Asbury Shorts style....fast paced, mostly hilarious and a fun night out for folks ages 16 and way above! Oscar Nominees/ Winners...US film festival "Best of Show" Winners and International honorees ...all in one sitting!! This is Asbury Shorts 36th year of presenting outstanding, elite short films from the past and present! New York City's longest running non competitive short film exhibition and travel show. Kaurman Astoria Studios is the world famous motion picture and television hub that has a glorious history going back to the 1920's! Currently the home of such successful television shows as: "Orange is the New Black" and "Shades of Blue." After parties at The Astor Room both nights. The Astor Room is a beautiful restaurant / bar located on the grounds of Kaufman Studios.
