La casa de los millones (Argentina, 1942) This light-hearted comedy built around malapropisms, puns, and slapstick stars Bozán as an ill-tempered nouveau riche widow who has driven away all but two of her servants, the long-suffering butler, and a new hire who turns the tables upside down in the mansion. La dama duende (Argentina, 1945) A young widow, facing the dismal prospect of either a convent or a marriage of convenience, sets out to conquer a handsome officer by pretending shes a duende, a ghost. Voted the best Argentine film of 1945, La dama duende is a beautifully crafted comedy of errors. DCP, b/w, 101 min. Director: Luis Saslavsky.
