Get ready for the unique sound of The Larry Stefl Group! Playing the Brazilian jazz compositions of Cartola, Baden Powell, Moacir Santos, Tom Jobim and Hermeto plus jazz standards and original compositions, this ensemble of highly accomplished Bay Area musicians will get your pulses racing and your feet tapping with their rhythmic melodies and lyrical stylings.
Composer Larry Stefl, a founding member of the Berkeley Jazz Guitar Ensemble, plays guitar and contributes the (Portuguese) vocals.
