OldJack return to the their favorite room to start up the Boston Music Award winning "OldJack's Last Saturdays" residency. As if that's not enough, They'll be celebrating the release of their first single "Eye to Eye". But wait.. it gets better.. joining them will be one of our favorite bands Cropduster and the new sounds of Set Fire.
Cropduster was born during the early summer of 2007. Co-founders Dave Unger and Greg Hoffman, tired of pushing the boundaries of volume and velocity from their previous bands(Doc Hopper,Random Road Mother et all) decided to go a different route. The search was on for the sound of cough syrup rock. The sound of creepy deeds done in dirty doorways.The sound of distant sirens approaching after the car crash.The lads, with the help of their medication wrote a bunch of songs then searched the asylums for equally demented lunatics to share their vision. Chris Coughlin(North Street, A Confederacy of Dumpsters) joined in on hammond, Stan Day(Oxycontinentals, Melonfarmers, Herb and Sportsmen/Fishermen) torqued up the guitar and Ben Karnavas (Gimme Danger) added the bass . Soon the smell of Nyquil filled the air.
Set Fire is a new band featuring Jess Collins, Jim Healey and Rob Davol. They rock. Hard.
