Ridge Vineyards Wine Dinner
You may have heard of Ridge Vineyards before - the California Winery regarded as one of the top Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel producers. The Monte Bello achieved 5th place in the famous "Judgement of Paris" contest of 1979. Today Ridge is known for making single estate wines fermented entirely with native yeasts from the vineyard excluding any commercial enzymes and with minimal sulfer. They refer to their winemaking philosophy as "Pre-Industrial".
