HSA Presents Full Radius Dance "Do You Know What You Are Doing Now"
Harlem School of the Arts presents Full Radius Dance performances of "Do You Know What You Are Doing Now" which speaks to how insecurity causes uncertainty and anxiety about oneself, others, the situation, and the process of creation. The physically-integrated dance company's theatricality, pioneering technique, and partnering make it a must see performance.
Friday, October 13 @7PM Saturday, October 14 @7PM HSA Theater
Full Radius Dance is a multi-racial, multi-ethnic dance company that for 22 years has created and performed in the field of physically integrated dance. Predicated on an understanding of disability as a part of human diversity, physically integrated dance is an art form that investigates the equal use of disabled and non-disabled dancers. Within the field, Full Radius Dance is known for its style of partnering.
Over the years, this intimate understanding of the body has enabled Full Radius Dance to build a style of athletic, full bodied, innovative partnering in which both disabled and disabled dancers lift and are lifted. This is one of the centers of our artistic aesthetic.
Full Radius Dance is one of six recipients of Dance/NYC's Disability. Dance. Artistry.(DDA) Fund.
