Improv Workshop: Physicality On Stage
Do you want ... - a more calm and grounded stage presence? - improved on-stage physicality? - an increased comfort dealing with the unexpected?
With exercises and principles from modern improv and physical theatre we will explore the connection between physicality, movement and emotion. The goal is to increase the participants' awareness of themselves and connection to their co-players, which in turn will allow for organic, playful and engaging scenes.
When: November 11th, 10am-5pm
Cost: £40
Location: 2 NORTHDOWN STREET, KINGS CROSS, LONDON, N1 9BG

Sincerely, Awkwardly Quiet, who are:
Andreas Södermark (SWE) trained in the Lecoq tradition physical theatre/clowning at The School For Theatre Creators in USA and Italy. Specialising in this movement oriented pedagogy, he also completed The Schools individualised pedagogical training.
Lizzy trained in acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, and has received 4- and 5-star reviews for her shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and Brighton Fringe, where she also won an Argus Angel Award for Excellence.
Andreas and Lizzy met in Chicago at The Second City in 2013, and are now teaching and performing together internationally.
Drawing on 30 years combined experience of improvised performance, they invite participants to connect more to their physical and emotional selves to rediscover a sense of freedom and playfulness. This allows more awareness of oneself and ones surroundings, empowering each player to be an independent, co-creative performer.
