Life, Lessons & Carols
So many of our family traditions are shaped around the holidays. This December, the Apollo Male Chorus presents Life, Lessons, and Carols, a holiday program that reshapes the telling of the Christmas story through the lens of our own human experiences. Giving a nod to the traditional service, Life, Lessons & Carols weaves together traditional sacred texts, poetry, carols, anthems, and even anecdotes and stories from the singers own holiday experiences.
In addition to the holiday favorites including Go Tell It On The Mountain, We Three Kings, and White Christmas, the chorus will include carols from Catalonia and a rousing setting of the Nigerian carol, Betelehemu.
An evening of wonderful words and music. Be sure to make this part of your great holiday tradition.
