Cosy Sheridan
Cosy Sheridan opens the 2017/18 season at Simple Gifts Coffee House! Cosy Sheridan has been called "one of the era's finest and most thoughtful singer/songwriters". She first appeared on the national folk scene in 1992 when she won the songwriting contests at The Kerrville Folk Festival and The Telluride Bluegrass Festival. She has collected devoted fans ever since with her witty and intelligent music and presence. She has released 10 cds, written a one-woman-show and her music has appeared in books and film. Cosy performs regularly across the country and has taught songwriting, guitar, and performance workshops at music camps for the past 15 years, including The Puget Sound Guitar Workshop and The Swannanoa Gathering. She is the director of The Moab Folk Camp in Moab, Utah.
Simple Gifts Coffee House is a non-profit volunteer run concert venue hosting regional and nationally known musical acts for over 25 years. Guests attending Simple Gifts Coffee House performances are invited to bring their own beer or wine to enjoy at concerts. Coffee, tea, and baked goods are available at each show.
