WTS September Lunch Program
WTS Puget Sound is excited to offer a program focused on the fast-approaching and critical impacts of the autonomous vehicle industry on our daily lives and the environment. We are at the peak of auto industry evolution that will drastically change more than it has in the last 100 years by replacing stand-alone, mechanically controlled, and petroleum-fueled vehicles with ones that will be electric, interconnected, and electronically controlled. Join WTS as Mark Hallenbeck, Director of the Washington State Transportation Center at UW, and Bruce Agnew, Director of the Cascadia Center, provide an overview of potential issues generated by AV technology and address opportunities to align state and federal regulations on AV usage and reduce barriers to innovation. Space in this program is limited to 60 people, so dont miss out!
Registration and networking begins at 11:30 am. The program will begin at noon and will end at 1:00 pm.
