We survived another hot Utah summer now come celebrate the coming of winter with the backcountry skiing community. Ascent Backcountry Snow Journal is hosting the first annual "SLIDE SHOW" with video and photo presentations from some of the hardest working trail breakers around. Enjoy a cold beer and live story telling from adventures in the Wasatch and beyond. Presenters include, the legendary steep skier himself, Andrew McLean; the speedy skimo brothers Jason and Andy Dorais; the first female to ski all the lines in the Chuting Gallery, Caroline Gleich; and life long Powderwhore, Noah Howell.
No ski event would be complete without a huge gear raffle and the Slide Show is no exception! Win products from the top backcountry brands including Black Diamond, Flylow, Scarpa, Julbo, Goal Zero and more. All proceeds will benefit the Wasatch Backcountry Alliance, the non-profit organization representing you and the backcountry community.
