Walter Salas-Humara @ the deej
Musician and painter Walter Salas-Humara has been crafting RockMericana music with The Silos and as a solo artist since 1985. He brings us his latest records, Work, and Explodes and Dissappear (a follow up to Curve and Shake) in an intimate acoustic show at the deej, DC's ephemeral underground music cave.
As Rolling Stones' Anthony DeCurtis says of Curve and Shake: "This extraordinary combination of gifts has made Walter one of the standout songwriters and performers of our time. To say the Curve and Shake is some of the best work he has ever done is to say something really meaningful and something, for all of our benefits, that is simply true."
the deej is honored to welcome WALTER back to our friendly music city, and are looking forward to a fantastic show from this venerable artist! this is going to be special!
the deej: it's a house concert, so isn't that special? friends, and friends you haven't met yet be nice or leave.
