Jimmy's World
Join us for a Fundraiser & Staged Reading of a new family-friendly pilot!
THE FUNDRAISER: Tim Bartow was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 1 year old. He is now a 29 year old aspiring screenwriter living in Kansas. Recently, his group home was destroyed in a fire that nearly cost him his life. Noisy Nest and Blue Chalk Media are raising funds to get Tim out of temporary housing and back into a Wheel-chair friendly home of his own.
THE PILOT: Jimmys World is a family friendly story about a paraplegic high school student learning to cope in his new school, dealing with high school politics, bullies and of course, girls! Jimmy is stuck between two worlds: His reality.... and a cartoon dream world set in a 1950's diner filled with a cast of endearing misfits.
The night begins with a 7:00pm cocktail hour (food and drink donated by Kensington Caterers) 8:00pm reading followed by a meet & greet with Tim and the cast!
The evening will be filmed by Blue Chalk Media.
