Idaho Dance Theatre "All Embracing"
IDT will open the performance with a collaborative piece with Open Arms Dance Project, directed by Megan Brandel. Open Arms is a multigenerational & inclusive modern dance company that welcomes people of all ages, with and without disabilities. This work will surely be motivational and powerful.
Marla Hansen will premiere a new work to Songs and Poems for Solo Cello, composed by Philip Glass and performed live by outstanding Boise musician and BSU Professor, Brian Hodges. This hauntingly beautiful music inspires a multitude of emotions and memories.
IDT dancers/choreographers Sam Mughrabi, Taylorann Evans and Yurek Hansen will also present new works that encompass their diverse styles and are sure to inspire and entertain!
