Next Stage Cooks: Oktoberfest

Come celebrate Oktoberfest with an evening of hearty German faire with Thorsten Lauterbach. Thor is a professionally trained chef from Berlin, where he owned The Birch Café. He occasionally cooked at the famed Suppenkuche in San Francisco when he was not busy traveling the world. Finally settling down in Guilford Vermont, Thor has gained his underground cred as a host of good food, good humor and the German micro brew beers that he crafts from the buds of his hops field.

This is a hands on class, making a full German Oktoberfest dinner. The class will cook and dine together (good imported German beer included) and a tasting of Thors Brew.
*His Wife just might perform the Chicken Dance if the crowd is friendly.

Appetizer:Pretzels with Specialty Mustards (pre prepared) Cucumber Salad with French Mustard Dressing

Entree:Schnitzel..Pork, Beef, Chicken

Sides:Red Cabbage and Roasted Potatoes

Dessert: Swedish Sundae (Vanilla ice cream, homemade applesauce, egg nog and whipped cream)

Beverages:Oktoberfest Beer, Underberg and Coffee will be served
