Halloween Murder Mystery
Solve a Murder Mystery in a 200 year old historic house! In celebration of Halloween each year, the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum, largely unchanged since it operated in 1826 as one of New Yorks celebrated 19th century day hotels, hosts an outstanding murder mystery based on a newspaper account of that day. During renovations in 1902, according to contemporary newspapers, a skeleton was discovered under the floorboards.
In celebration of Halloween each year, the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum hosts a murder mystery to uncover the mysterious circumstances of this death! Who was murdered? By whom? With what? Players explore the museums period rooms by candlelight and collect clues to unravel the mystery and solve the case.
