ONE NIGHT IN PIARCO Animated Short by ANSAR SATTAR
Animae Caribe's 2008 Award Winning Short Film, "One Night in Piarco," was Sattar's way of drawing awareness to a small outbreak of Dengue fever in Trinidad & Tobago in 2008. The film explores a late night scenario between an immigration officer and a cute, yet most unwelcome guest. (Trinidad & Tobago)

In rural Trinidad, Dhani struggles to support himself and his mother by selling doubles (Trinidad's quintessential street food). When his estranged father returns from Canada unexpectedly, Dhani must decide if he will help save his father's life despite their strained relationship. Doubles With Slight Pepper is the winner of the 2012 Genie Awards (Canada's equivalent of the Academy Awards), for "Best Live Action Short Drama." (Trinidad & Tobago)

The award-winning film, Dominica: Charting a Future for Paradise, is a story about the nature island of Dominica.
