Voices of the Wilderness
Sitting around any campfire deep in the backcountry of The Bob, Montana's wildest wilderness area, you'll hear stories that are the stuff of legend-- stories of close calls, awe inspiring landscapes, fish this big, encounters with bears, and of course packstrings and longears.
Voices of the Wilderness brings those stories to the Flathead Valley from folks who have spent a lifetime in The Bob. Join us for a night of true exploration and wilderness adventure!
For this year's event, our keynote speakers will share their unique perspective of the Bob. As members of Montana's only recognized caving community, the Northern Rocky Mountain Grotto has insights into the many wonders that exist below the surface of the wilderness, places only known and accessible to a select few.
This is the closest most will ever come to seeing these incredible areas with their own eyes and we look forward to hearing about their discoveries as we raise money for the BMWF vital stewardship programs.
In addition to the guest speakers, we'll have live music from Sweetwater Junction, dancing, a cash bar, and a complimentary baked potato bar. We'll also an assortment of carefully curated silent auction ranging from art, backcountry gear, tack, jewelry, and handmade, artisan crafts. Come thirsty and bring cash for the raffle tickets and the wine grab: a 'buy a bottle on the spot' game where you could win a bottle valued at over $100!
