Presented by the Mount Baker Community Club, a non-partisan Candidates Forum will take place for residents to see the debates between opposing candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Confirmed are the candidates for :
School District 1, Director 7 position (Southeast Seattle) - Chelsea Byers and Betty Patu
Council Position 8 - Jon Grant and Teresa Mosqueda
Council Position 9 - M. Lorena Gonzalez and Pat Murakami
Mayor - Cary Moon and Jenny Durkan
The event will be moderated by Seattle Times journalist Danny Westneat.
We are anticipating good demand for the event and will be trying to broadcast on Facebook Live in order that anyone interested will be able to view the Forum. Please check back with www.mountbaker.org for further details.
Tickets must be applied for in advance and are restricted to residents of Mount Baker. There is no charge for tickets but we are grateful to receive contributions as we are a non-profit 501c. Restricted to 2 per person. Your contributions make events like this possible!
