Friday evening OCt 27: Andrew Harvey will present his vision of Rumi for our time. The return of Rumi's poetry, and influence is not a coincidence. Rumi is the voice of the eternal beloved, signing essential truths that we all need to align with, to preserve humanity and nature. In his presentation Andrew will share what he has learned from Rumi over 40 years, and translating him and writing about him in a way that will thrill all who come with the power of radiance and passion, and of Rumi's galvanizing vision of divine love.

About: Andrew Harvey is Founder Director of the Institute of Sacred Activism, an international organization that invites concerned people to take up the challenge of our contemporary global crises by becoming inspired and effective agents of change. Sacred activism is a form of compassion-in-action that is born of a fusion of deep spiritual passion with wise radical action in the world. The large-scale practice of Sacred Activism can become an essential force for preserving and healing the planet and its inhabitants. Andrew Harvey has taught at Oxford and Cornell University's well as at various colleges and spiritual centers throughout the world. He has written over 30 books.

      Finding hope, joy and empowerment in disturbing times.
           sacred practices, shadow work and dream work
               with Andrew Harvey and Machiel Klerk

In this weekend workshop, Andrew Harvey and Machiel Klerk, will provide a vision of how sacred activism can help you align yourself with the divine energies and powers into your destiny and mission.

A vision of rugged hope for these times. Andrew offers four major practices from four different major religions that can empower people. Andrew will give a vision of how to return to joy and cultivate joy as the main kind of fuel for living an engaged life. Machiel will show how engaging with the world of dreams and it's inhabitants will provide guidance to find and implement your specific sacred work.

This weekend is not about talk, but will give people tools to build a holy and divine future. Tools to fortify your courage and to find your destiny and mission, and way to organize yourself to encourage each other.

About the speaker: Machiel Klerk is a licensed mental health therapist, dream worker, international speaker, gifted diviner and social entrepreneur.
He followed a course at the Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, and has a Masters degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California USA. Machiel has published articles on depth psychology and released a CD on dreams. He was mentioned one of the 100 most influential cultural figures in Utah. He gives workshops and lectures in Europe , North America and Africa. Machiel is also the founding president of the Jung Society of Utah and Jung Platform.
