María Volonté: Blue Tango Project
Latin Grammy-Nominee María Volonté returns to the National Museum of Dance with new tango fresh from Buenos Aires!
The 'Blue Tango Project', a collaboration between María Volonté and California harmonica player Kevin Carrel Footer, is a ground-breaking exploration of the emotional and musical crossroads where tango and the blues embrace. This globe-trotting duo celebrates the deep spiritual bond that connects tango and the blues two musical genres born out of desire and marginality.
This performance will take place on Thursday, October 5th at 7:30 pm. Doors will open to the public at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $25 per person.
You won't want to miss this exciting show in the Riggi Theater at the National Museum of Dance!
This concert is possible in part by B&B Productions.
