Coltrane Night
Coltrane's body of work represents a pinnacle of achievement in the 20th century exerting an influence that goes beyond jazz both spiritually and musically.
The night will feature the music written and played by John Coltrane celebrating the 90th year of his birth.
The material will cover two periods of his extraordinary career beginning with his early period on the Prestige Records label and concluding with pieces in "Transition" to his late "Temporal Disunity/Structural Unity" Impulse-period.
