Atlanta Tour de Farm
Come enjoy a full day of urban farms, bikes, local food, beer and local drinks, music, bonfire, urban camping, good folks and good times with us. Eat Local, Ride Bikes!

What: The 5th Annual Atlanta Tour de Farm hosted by Community Farmers Markets

The 2017 Tour de Farm is a unique full-day bicycle tour of local urban farms, an on-farm dinner, and optional overnight camping at Urban Sprouts Farm. The goal of the tour is to promote sustainable lifestyles through urban agriculture and bicycling in Atlanta all while experiencing the city in a fresh, new way.

Riders of all levels welcome, but note that it will be a full day ride in the city! The ride is approximately 22 miles, with stops along the way.  All food and drinks will be provided (vegan to omnivore options).  Riders will get a TdF T-shirt and a reusable CFM water bottle! Please, BYO bike, helmet, and camping gear. This is a fully supported ride.

When: All Day Saturday, October 21st plus optional overnight urban camping and a Sunday trip to the Grant Park Farmers Market (with $5 gift certificate) on October 22nd.

Who: We'll be visiting farms in Intown Atlanta including Urban Sprout Farms (start and end point), Crack in the Sidewalk Farmlet, Browns Mill Food Forest, Mena's Farm, Freewheel Farm/Chattahoochee Queen/Compostwheels, Truly Living Well Collegetown and more!

In addition to tours and refreshments at each site, Aglanta will be hosting a mushroom inoculation class. Participants will get to take home an inoculated log at the end of the tour.
