Snow White and Friends
Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? Tucson's Actors of the Round Table present Snow White and Friends, a hilarious adaptation of the story we all know and love. It's the classic story of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"...with a few unusual twists that are sure to make this an entertaining performance, filled with fun for the whole family.
Come join us at Roadrunner Theatre Company to enjoy the work of playwright, Val Cheatham; featuring the never-before-performed, "I Dream of Queenie with the Light Brown Throne" by Lorraine Timmons, and a cast of just 4 talented performers playing every role. Snow White and Friends stars Nastassja Barnes, Julia Hupp, Janae Newhouse-Waine, and Blaire Krakowitz, with direction by Alex Hupp and choreography by David Quinones.

Nastassja Barnes (Narrator/Dopey) is happy to be participating in SNOW WHITE AND FRIENDS. Past productions have included ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, CRAMALOT, and SUSSICAL. She also wrote an original scene in PAGE TO STAGE VOL. 7 with Empire High School and performed in CANNED HAMLET, THE NINE WORST BREAKUPS OF ALL TIME, and THE ADVENTURES OF WILBUR HOMES: SHERLOCK'S COUSIN, TWICE REMOVED with Actors of the Round Table. Nastassja also has 12 years of dance experience with Ballet Rincon, having done 5 different dance styles. She has also run tech for them and the Arizona Arts Conservatory for 2 years. Nastassja hopes you enjoy the show!
Julia Hupp (Queen) is very excited to be part of this wonderful production! She has been acting since she was six years old, and some of her past productions include PETER PAN JR. (Wendy Darling), THE MUSIC MAN JR. (Winthrop Paroo), CANNED HAMLET (Hamlet), BAD AUDITIONS BY BAD ACTORS (Rodger), THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. (Ursula), THE ADVENTURES OF WILBUR HOLMES: SHERLOCK'S COUSIN, TWICE REMOVED (Wilbur Holmes), and SINGIN' IN THE RAIN JR. (Kathy Selden). She has also been in several of the family shows at Live Theatre Workshop, including MOTHER GOOSE UNPLUCKED (Jill),THE GREAT ZANTINI AND THE MAGIC THIEF (Regina Renly Rabbit), GOODIES, GOONS, AND GOBLINS - A HALLOWEEN BASH (J. Parker Pumpkin) and was the stage manager for JACK AND THE BEANSTALK. Currently, she is attending Sabino High School, where she is in Advanced Drama. She is thrilled you came to see the show and she hopes that you enjoy it as much as she does!
Janae Newhouse-Waine (Mirror/Snow White) has been acting since she was 8 years old and has been part of Actors of the Round Table for five years. Some of the shows she has been in are BAD ADDITIONS BY BAD ACTORS (Casting Director), GOLDILOCKS AND JACK (Capulet/Goldilocks), INTO THE WOODS (Little Red Riding Hood), THE ADVENTURES OF WILBUR HOLMES: SHERLOCK'S COUSIN, TWICE REMOVED (Arthur Moriatrty) and many others. She has also directed twice and she is excited for you to see this show. Remember to always ask in rhyme.
Blaire Krakowitz (Woodsman/Doc) is thrilled to be in her third show with Actors of the Round Table! You may have seen her before in CANNED HAMLET as an old man who slapped someone with his beard. Good times, good times. Blaire has been acting for 9 years, and she looks forward to more incredible shows with Mr. Hupp and co.! #downwithTHEQUEEN!
Alex Hupp (director) is proud to be directing the 9th Actors of the Round Table production and first of its first ofical season! Past directing credits for Alex include FREAKY LONG, LONG AGO, THE INNOCENT AND THE INSTIGATOR, GOLDILOCKS AND JACK, BAD AUDITIONS BY BAD ACTORS, CANNED HAMLET, THE 9 WORST BREAKUPS OF ALL TIME, and THE ADVENTURES OF WILBUR HOLMES: SHERLOCK'S COUSIN, TWICE REMOVED. Alex has also served as assistant technical director for Roadrunner Theatre Company, working on shows such as BEYOND THERAPY, BECKY'S NEW CAR, THE LANGUAGE ARCHIVE, BE MY BABY, GOD'S FAVORITE, the first production of TUCSON FOLLIES and more! Alex hopes you enjoy the show and would like to thank the cast and crew for being amazing in every desirable way!
Taylor Steger (Stage Manager) has always been passionate about theatre. She has taken part in two productions with her school which were CRAMALOT and PAGE TO STAGE VOLUME 7. She had the honor of being a student author and director in PAGE TO STAGE. She also does technical theatre--her favorite aspects being spotlights and rigging. Her most recent performance was playing Lady Abigail Bearington in THE ADVENTURES OF WILBUR HOLMES: SHERLOCKS COUSIN TWICE REMOVED. This production is her first production where she is stage managing. A lot of hard work and dedication from the actors and crew have been put into this show. She hopes you enjoy it!
