The last home game of the year!
KRG invites Kingsford Krush to battle it out at this end of the year Yooper closeout.
Last time these two teams met was in 2014 with a nailbiting last jam that ended in a 114 to 118 score in favor of Kingsford. A short hiatus and a return to the flat track in 2017, Kingsford is gaining strength and ready to test their mettle yet again. These two teams exemply great roller derby spirit, and serve up some tough competition to one another. It's hard to predicit you will come out on top, but it's sure to be an exciting and close match.
Join us SATURDAY, September 16th at the Calutmet Colosseum. This is a night of family fun and celebration for the close of the 2017 Keweenaw Roller Girls Home Season.
Just $5 at the door gets you access to an evening of intense roller derby action and fun. Bring your friends, bring a date! Bring your kids and enjoy some fun! Children 10 and under have FREE entry!
The historic Calumet Colosseum offers 360 degree views of the action on the track. Want to get closer to the thrills and spills? Come down track side and sit your butts right up against the safety lane (Ages 18+) VIP Pass holders get first dibs on the kooshy seats up front.
FOOD AND DRINK:
Wings and other delicious eats provided by Miller's Recreation.
Trackside will have a selection of traditional domestic and Michigan craft beer, along with cider, and other refreshments.
