Miss U.T.O.P.I.A. Seattle 2017-2018
The Miss UTOPIA Seattle pageant is the annual fundraiser for local non-profit, U.T.O.P.I.A. Seattle. U.T.O.P.I.A. (United Territories of Pacific Islanders Alliance) Seattle provides sacred spaces to strengthen the minds and bodies of QTPIs (Queer and Trans Pacific Islanders) through community organizing, political engagement, and cultural stewardship.
Our mission is integrated into the pageantry system. Contestants identify culturally as Asian, Native Hawaiian, and/or Pacific Islander. We are in search of an ambassador that is able to represent the diverse cultural communities of the Pacific.
Join us in celebrating the art of drag through a API cultural lens on Saturday, October 7th, 2017.
