About the Performers:
Gypsy jazz band Manouche Bags blend of vintage toe-tappers and chic French ditties make sitting still virtually impossible. The driving bass of Joe Bussey, coupled with the masterful vocals and guitar of Mattias Gustafsson and Jim Kaznosky are the closest you can get to a raucous 1920s Parisian bistro without having to master the art of time travel.
4th Street Nite Owls is an ensemble performing an extensive repertoire of prohibition jazz from the 1930's Americana songbook - with a few originals & contemporary numbers to boot. Hugely inspired by Thomas "Fats" Waller, they continue to breathe new life into songs from an era of playful composers & clever lyricists. Featuring David Rubin on resophonic guitar, Jerry Fabris on upright bass, Megan Burleyson on snare drum & vocals and Dale Burleyson on guitar & vocals. From uptown dance hall hootanannies to downtown burlesque reviews, 4th Street Nite Owls are an absolute hoot!
