Blas an Erraigh -- A Taste of Spring Wine Tasting Benefit
The second annual 'Blas an Erraigh', or Taste of Spring Wine Tasting is NOT just a regular wine tasting. It's a fine selection of wines for regular folks in a casual, arrive-when-you-like-setting. It's a casual, self-paced event where you can experience wines from around the world in a variety of styles and colors.
Those who are familiar with the 'Blas an Erraigh' and 'Fi'on' Tastings, both benefit events for CelticFest Mississippi, will recognize the relaxed format. Wine will be available at several different stations and staffed by a wine expert. Participants can meander from station to station, sampling and learning about the wines. Hors d oeuvres will also be available to cleanse the palette.
Tickets are $20, or $15 for CHS members and attendees of the Jimmy Crowley & Ma'irti'n de Co'ga'in concert (details of that above!). The venue is Fenian's Irish Pub on the corner of Jefferson and Fortification Streets. This is a smoke free event!! Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
The Blas an Erraigh Wine Tasting is a benefit event, with all funds to support the 17th Annual CelticFest Mississippi, which runs Sept. 5, 6, and 7 at the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Museum.
Sponsored by Wine & Spirits in the Quarter and by Fenian's Pub.
